Who else feels ugly during the winter? I certainly do. When it’s freezing outside, it’s hard to look pretty. It’s so easy to look frumpy under layers of clothing and to let yourself go. My skin and hair get drier, I get depressed about my pale skin and all I want to wear are leggings and big sweaters. Over the years, I’ve learned that taking care of myself is just as important during the winter months. These are 5 simple things that I do to look pretty in the winter.
This one is from Burberry which is a little out of my budget but I really love the details and tailoring. It’s fitted so you don’t look like a giant lump.
I make sure my hair is always moisturized. I love the smell of this moroccan argan oil and it’s sulfate free!
I don’t do tanning beds so when I want to look tan without the harmful rays, I use this Jergens Natural Glow lotion. You build the tan gradually without looking orange.
Whenever it’s cold outside and the weather is dreary, I love wearing bright coral nail polish. This one is called peach daiquiri from Essie which reminds me of a tropical island.
