Brussel sprouts are one of my favorite things especially as a Thanksgiving side dish. They are fast and easy to make which is great since there’s barely any time on Thanksgiving day to make everything. First, I wash the brussel sprouts, cut the ends and cut them in half. Then, I season with extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper and roast for 15 minutes in a 425 degree oven. I love the flavor of roasted brussel sprouts. Sometimes, when I’m in a fancy mood, I’ll mix the roasted brussel sprouts with cranberries or sweet potatoes. Doesn’t it also make you feel better that you’ve eaten a vegetable among all the other glutinous side dishes?
