It feels weird writing a post when the majority of the North East is enduring a monster hurricane. Everything in the city is shut down right now and it’s a crazy feeling to be sequestered in your apartment all day. It’s a good thing I stocked up on water, food and reading materials in case of a power outage. In the meantime, I’m sharing these cute mini pumpkin pies I made last week for a birthday party. I found this recipe on Bakerella’s website and I thought they were so adorable because the pies are pumpkin shaped. I don’t know about you but pumpkin pie is my all time favorite Fall dessert. I love that pumpkin pie is creamy but not too sweet and I love the taste of buttery crust. The mini pumpkin pies with faces brought a smile to my face. They are perfect for a Halloween or Fall party.
