I make mango salsa a lot because it’s so versatile. It’s not just for chips. I put it on top of grilled chicken and fish or add it to tacos and burritos. It has the perfect sweet, tart, and salty combination that makes for the perfect topping, condiment, or appetizer. It’s a nice change from your average tomato based salsa and it also happens to be very easy to make.
- 2 – 3 mangoes
- Red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- The juice of 1 lime
- 1/4 cup cilantro
- Salt and pepper
Dice the mango into small chunks. Read here on how I dice a mango. Add the diced red bell pepper. I only used half of mine.
Add the chopped red onion and cilantro.
Squeeze the juice of 1 lime, season with salt and pepper, and mix everything together.
