Heirloom Tomato Salad

I was stopped in my tracks at the farmers market when I saw these heirloom tomatoes.  Not only were they delicious, they were also very beautiful.  They were so sweet and perfect that I didn’t need to put anything else in the salad besides extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper and some basil leaves.  Heirloom tomatoes are in peak season right now so it’s the perfect time to eat them.  It was the perfect starter for our dinner.  I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
