I’ve been slow to get into the holiday spirit and I needed to fix that quickly. One of the things I do to get myself into the holiday spirit is to make cookies. I found this chocolate cookie and candy cane recipe here. I love the combination of chocolate and candy cane, it reminds me of a york peppermint patty. I love this recipe because it’s easy and it’s mostly chocolate. It almost tastes like a brownie. It’s so easy to get stressed and overwhelmed during the holidays but just remember to do all the fun things you used to do as a carefree kid. Like watching A Christmas Story, eating cookies, wearing silly pajamas, trimming the tree, seeing Christmas lights and listening to Christmas music. It’s the most magical time of the year!
