5 Things Laura Loves

{Walked the streets of Havana, Cuba}

It’s been a while since I’ve done a 5 things Laura loves not because I didn’t appreciate all that was going on but the Fall and Winter tend to be busier times.  If there is one resolution I have for 2016, it’s to reflect more.  I believe reflection is imperative in seeing how far you’ve come, feeling gratitude and for goal setting.  As I sit down and look back on 2015, I feel like I accomplished all the things I’ve wanted to do.  A lot of what I write and present in this blog is 25% of my life; the beautiful and magical part.  Like everyone else, I go through personal struggles which I don’t write about so how would you know?  Over the last year, I’ve overcome a lot (relative to my life).  I can honestly say that these struggles have made me a stronger person and I’ve learned a lot even though at the time I was like WTF!  So, even though these personal triumphs are not one of my 5, it’s my biggest accomplishment.  Maybe one day I’ll be brave enough to share some of these struggles and how I’ve overcome them.  In the meantime, these were 5 of my favorite moments of last year.  It was hard to pick just 5 but here we go…

{Lived in the West Village which was a dream of mine}

{Discovered new neighborhoods in New York like Bushwick, Brooklyn}

{I went back to Granda, Spain after 12 years}

{Made amazing memories with friends and family especially with my sister}
