5 Things Laura Loves

Taking in all the beauty that is around you and the people in your lives is the single most important thing you can do to be happy.  Honestly, when people ask me why I’m always happy, it’s because I’m grateful for every little thing and person in my life.  I try to live in the moment and savor every little detail.  That’s why I started 5 things Laura Loves.  It’s 5 small things that made me happy during the week.  It’s as simple as seeing outdoor art in NYC or fresh peaches at a farm stand.  Tonight, my childhood friend is getting married in the North Fork.  I’m giddy with excitement to see all my friends together.  I never realized the importance of having close friends nearby until most of them moved away.  It’s a fact of life that I’ve had to accept but the rare occasions we do get together, it’s like the stars align.  Even though it’s raining, it’s not going to dampen the love and joy in the air.  Congratulations Suzy and Andrew!  These were the things I’ve been lovin’ this week.
