A Soul Cycle ride with girlfriends on my birthday
Last weekend, I spent it in Montreal celebrating my girlfriend Suzy’s bachelorette. As predicted, I was struggling to stay awake and party past midnight. I’m definitely feeling my age because it takes me a week to recover from a bachelorette weekend. The best part about the weekend for me was catching up with my 2 girlfriends for 6 hours in the car ride up to Montreal. It was the most fun I’ve had during a car ride. I find myself savoring these kinds of moments more and more as I get older. It’s becoming increasingly rare to be able to spend 6 uninterrupted hours with my girlfriends. This week also happened to be my birthday. I always cry on my birthday because I feel overwhelmed with gratitude that all of my friends and family consistantly shower me with love. Since I celebrated my big 30 in a big way last year, I wanted this year’s celebration to be very low key. I can’t wait to celebrate with my family this weekend and get some sleep! These are the things I’ve been lovin’ this week. TGIF!
Watching them make bagels at Fairmount Bagels in Montreal then eating one with lox and cream cheese!
My friends know me so well and shower me with balloons, flowers, and cupcakes
My birthday dinner at Rosa Mexicano in NYC. The only thing I wanted to eat for my birthday was chips and gaucamole and of course margaritas!
So happy my trench has a fur hoodie….it’s still so cold!
