5 Things Laura Loves

5 Things Laura Loves

{Mini donuts as seen here}

This is a Monday edition of 5 things Laura loves.  Last week was a blur.  My flight from Vienna arrived on Monday afternoon and all week, I suffered from the common symptoms of jet lag like waking up at 3 am.  Whenever I get back from an incredible trip, I feel a little blue so I do my usual routine…I fill my apartment with fresh flowers, I buy great coffee so the apartment has that great coffee aroma, and I make sweet treats that make me happy like mini donuts.  I’ve been sharing stories from my trip with friends and family and reliving moments with photos.  I’m still thinking about the beautiful architecture in Budapest and the delicious food that we ate there.  This past weekend, we went to a friend’s wedding at the Wolffer Estate in the Hamptons.  Even though the weather didn’t hold up, I was blown away by the decor and the food.  I’ve never been to a wedding where I literally ate everything they served.  For hors d’oeuvres, they served such creative things like mini lobster rolls and lollipop pigs in a blanket.  With a busy week behind me, I’m looking forward to tackling my list of pending projects and fall activities.  These were the things I was lovin’ last week and thinking about this week.
