5 Things Laura Loves

 {Moose sighting}

I’m reading this amazing travel book called Vagabonding which couldn’t be more fitting for this trip.  There’s an awesome quote by Saint Augustine, “The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.”  Travel has become an essential part of my life.  With every trip, I grow more as a person.  This week has been an amazing adventure through New England, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia.  It’s one of the most scenic drives I’ve ever taken.  I learned a couple of important lessons along the way: 1) Always be flexible even when things go bad 2) Don’t always stay on schedule, be spontaneous and 3) Don’t rush to the destination, the journey is the best part.  Tomorrow, we’re making the trek back to New York City.  It’s going to be long but the trip was worth it.  These are the things that I’m lovin’ this week.

 {Finding a secluded beach on Prince Edward Island}

 {Adirondack chairs overlooking the ocean}

 {Plump and juicy mussels from Nova Scotia}

 {Riding winding roads on the Cabot Trail}
