There’s nothing better in life for a girl than to catch up with a few girlfriends over fashion and food.  In the beginning of the week, it was raining cats and dogs so it was the perfect setting to meet my fashionista friend Grace at the MET to see the “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations” exhibit.  If you haven’t seen it yet, you have to see the masks that were designed by Guido Palau.  In my opinion, they were the highlight of the show.  Sorry no photos were allowed.  I met up with my girlfriend Annie at one of my favorite spots, the Meatball Shop.  I still love this place and although it’s a meatball shop, I go for their polenta which for me, is heaven.  When the weather finally became sunnier by the end of the week, I spent most of the day walking every inch of the city.  Yesterday, I walked from Brooklyn Heights to my apartment (it took a while).  I just couldn’t stop roaming around and taking photos.  Is it wrong that I’m really looking forward to a cocktail at 5 pm tonight?  Have a great weekend and Happy Father’s Day!
