The balloon festival was held at Solberg Airport in Whitehouse Station, NJ but we decided to stay in the cute little town of New Hope, PA. We ate at the yummiest creole restaurant called Marsha Brown. The standout dishes were: cracked pepper sashimi tuna, lollipop lamb chops, duck meatballs, and hickory smoked bacon slab. After dinner, we walked towards the river where they had free fireworks every Friday in the summer. New Hope reminded me of New Paltz. I love artsy hippie towns and New Hope was the perfect weekend getaway.
